STYLES AND PATTERNS

Concrete Edging can be formed in many styles allowing for a unique and custom curb installation. Patterns and colours may also be added to the curb for a perfect match to any landscape.

Styles:

Some profiles (or shapes) are designed for specific purposes, like the angle profile*. The Garden’s Edge can help select the profile most suitable for your needs. Styles may change from time to time. Please contact us for the current available options.

* The Angle profile is the most popular choice since it is used with our decorative stamps and rollers and it showcases the patterns and colours well. The back edge is 4" high, designed to contain the soil and mulch in your flower beds. The front edge is 2" high, designed to sit level with your grass, making mowing easy and minimizing trimming.

Patterns:

Stamps and rollers are used with certain profiles to create a custom curb. Patterns may also change from time to time, and not all patterns can be applied to all profiles.

Colours:

Colour may be added to complement existing buildings or landscaping, or simply to create an impact. The colour is mixed into the concrete and will not peel or chip off. Additional sealers and hardeners preserve colours from UV fading. Surface colour may also be used to achieve a more natural stone look. Variations of grey, brown, red or buff are most common. It’s best to choose your colour from the physical samples we bring to your home or business (colour charts are unreliable).
